Yes, Mr Johnny Depp f-i-n-a-l-l-y won, for the first time, in his 8th nomination in the 65th Golden Globe Awards for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Comedy/Musical. Sweeney Todd also won in the Best Musical category!

Whats so sad wasssss.....there wasn't any broadcast of the award ceremony due to the ongoing hollywood writers' strike. The award show was forced to reduce to a dull press conference format to announce the winners......with no red carpet, no dazzling stars, no acceptance speeches, no applauses, no moments of glory....no anything!!!!! Wah piang eh.....those years when he would attend the show for his nominations, he didn't win. Now that he wins, there isn't any show! Hahaha ...真是哭笑不得啊！

套一句非常俗气的话：“ 其实得不得奖并不重要( although it's always good to get credit for your hard work ) , 因为在影迷的心中，早已肯定了偶像的才华。” I think most of johnny depp's fans would agree that he should have won in his first-time nomination for his role in edward scissorhands back in 1991. This is a long overdue award....nevertheless, late is better than never =)
